- Power. The film runs from a compact low-voltage driver, so the requirement is a discreet wiring route — typically above the ceiling or along a mullion — not new panel capacity. Nothing penetrates the glass itself.
- Scheduling. Application is trade work carried out in the room, so in an operating facility it is planned with the lab manager: after-hours windows, benches protected, and the work sequenced around your own protocols. If the space has gowning or particulate rules, the install follows them, and final cleaning is done to the facility's procedure — we do not pretend the work happens by magic.

It is honest to be equally clear about what it does not do. The frost is visual privacy, not blackout — light still passes through. It is not soundproofing; the glass changes what people see, never what they hear. And it does not alter a room's containment or air classification — cleanliness class lives in the filtration, pressure, and protocols, not in the glazing.
Placement has limits too. Film belongs on dry interior faces; a wall that gets washed down or takes direct chemical spray is a case for a factory-laminated switchable panel instead, quoted per project.
