Smart View is a Los Angeles smart glass company based in Canoga Park. We fabricate PDLC smart film and switchable glass at our own facility, install with our own team across the LA metro, and ship materials nationwide. Founded in 2024 and run by Lior "Leo" Shaubi, Founder & CEO, the company stays deliberately hands-on: the people who cut your film are a hallway away from the people who install it. Every installation is backed by a 1-year workmanship warranty, on top of the manufacturer's film and glass warranties.
What we believe
Privacy shouldn't cost you light. LA homes and offices are built around glass for a reason -- views, daylight, openness. Blinds and curtains solve privacy by giving all of that up. Switchable glass doesn't. That trade-off is the reason this company exists.
Quotes should be honest. We publish our real material pricing and explain what moves the installed number on our smart glass cost page. We quote after measuring, so the price you sign is the price you pay -- no teaser rates, no surprise add-ons.
The install team should answer to the fabricator. We don't hand your project to subcontractors. The same company measures, fabricates, installs, wires, and tests -- so when we stand behind the work, that means something.
Documented, not just claimed
Every product ships with a spec sheet, and our smart glass picture window line publishes U-Factor, SHGC, and Visible Transmittance performance data. When an architect or GC needs real numbers for a submittal, we send the documentation. And the basics are in order too: Smart View is a licensed California contractor (LIC #1134029), fully insured.

Our install team covers the Los Angeles metro, and takes on large or commercial projects within about a 5-6 hour drive -- Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco, Palm Springs, Lake Havasu. Everywhere else in the United States, we ship custom-fabricated materials with the precision work already done.
