Smart View Smart Glass / Smart View Film Solutions ("Smart View," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through smartviewsmartglass.com and our phone lines, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you request a quote, fill out a contact form, call us, or email us, we may collect:

• Contact details -- your name, phone number, and email address.
• Project details -- property type (residential or commercial), location or service area, glass measurements, photos you choose to send, and notes about what you want done.
• Communication records -- the content of form submissions, emails, text messages (where you have consented to receive them), and notes from phone conversations.
• Website usage data -- standard analytics information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you found the site.

We collect only what we need to respond to your inquiry and deliver our services. We do not collect payment card details through this website.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and prepare estimates and quotes.
• To schedule site surveys, installations, deliveries, and service visits.
• To communicate about your project by phone, email, or text (per your stated preferences).
• To improve our website and understand which pages are useful.
• To meet legal, accounting, and warranty record-keeping obligations.

Service providers we use

We use a small number of third-party tools to run the business:

• GoHighLevel (CRM) -- our customer relationship management system stores contact and project information you submit so we can manage quotes, scheduling, and follow-up.
• Google Analytics -- collects aggregated website usage statistics so we can understand site traffic. This data does not identify you personally to us.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. We share your information with them only as needed to operate.

Social media publishing

We publish photos and videos of our own completed installations to Smart View's own social media accounts, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile. We publish project media only where the property owner has agreed to it, and we do not include customer names, addresses, or contact details in that media.

To publish to our own accounts we connect them to our internal business software. When we connect an account, the platform gives us a limited access credential and basic profile information about that account -- for example its account ID, display name, and profile picture. We store that information on our own private server, use it only to publish our own content to our own accounts, never sell or share it, and delete it when the account is disconnected. We do not use these connections to collect information about any other person's social media account, and we do not read or store other users' personal data from these platforms.

No information collected from visitors to this website is shared with these platforms beyond what those platforms collect themselves.

If you are a customer and you would prefer that photos or video of your project are not posted publicly, email info@smartviewsmartglass.com or call (866) 728-9888 and we will remove them.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
• We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing.
• We do not send marketing text messages without your explicit consent, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Text messaging (SMS/MMS): No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.

Data retention

We keep inquiry and project records as long as needed to serve you, honor warranties, and meet legal requirements. If you'd like your contact information removed from our systems, ask and we'll handle it unless a legal obligation requires us to keep specific records.

Your choices and rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we don't sell data). Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy
