Executive Office with Full-Height Switchable Glass
Project Overview
A Newport Beach CEO wanted both worlds in his executive office: a floor-to-ceiling glass wall overlooking the company’s open workspace, and total privacy on demand for confidential meetings. In 2025, we installed smart glass office Newport Beach — retrofitting ~50 sqft of PDLC switchable smart glass film onto the existing glass wall. The wall transitions from fully transparent to fully opaque in under a second, with no frame removal and no downtime.
The Problem
The executive office was built around openness — a single uninterrupted full-height glass wall keeping the CEO visually connected to his team while preserving executive separation. The trade-off: every confidential meeting, phone call, or sensitive document review meant hauling in temporary blinds or relocating the conversation.

The Solution
We retrofitted PDLC switchable smart glass film directly onto the existing full-height glass wall. The film transitions from frosted to crystal-clear the instant power is applied, so the office looks identical to before when clear and becomes fully opaque when privacy is needed.
