The Solution

We applied PDLC switchable smart film directly to the existing glass panels using a vacuum-assisted application process that prevents air bubbles, edge lift, and visual distortion. The film integrates a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal layer between the glass surface and a clear conductive layer. When voltage flows, the liquid crystals align and the film turns transparent. Cut the power and the crystals scatter back to a frosted state in milliseconds. The low-voltage wiring is concealed inside the wall and connects to a remote-control receiver, so the only visible change to the room is the surface itself shifting between clear and private.
